Happy New Year everyone! Today I am going to make that duck stock that I never got to yesterday. I've found a recipe on the Food Network, and I've saved it in my Recipes notebook on Springpad if you're interested to see what it entails.
This picture is the browning step, which is not much to look at, but I hope that it tastes as good as the recipe sounds - Rich Chicken (in my case duck) Stock. Once I get the stock done, I'll add some veggies and some noodles and hope that Brad enjoys eating it as much I enjoy cooking it for him. Yup, getting to my man through his stomach. :-)

The soup was a full on success! I added leeks, carrots, red potatoes, egg noodles, celery, and peas as the final ingredients. I can't wait to do it again next year!
